2019 Demand Survey Plan for International Cooperation Programs
Founded in 1988 to stabilize the livelihood and enhance the welfare of the public, the National Pension Service (hereinafter “NPS”) has achieved remarkable accomplishments. With the world’s third largest pension fund, the Korean National Pension is regarded as one of the most successful pension systems in the world, covering almost all Korean nationals (except for those insured in other mandatory occupational public pension schemes).
We hope that a comprehensive understanding of Korea’s National Pension System will help you introduce, enhance, or expand your country’s pension system, while you adopt the key features of the Korean National Pension Scheme to pension system in your country.
